The George municipality is making great strides in empowering women through their 100-Day Challenge. This initiative focuses on providing training to women in various aspects of kitchen hygiene, bread baking, and working with industrial kitchen equipment. The ultimate goal of this project is to enable ten women to start and register their own businesses and generate a sustainable income for themselves.

By equipping these women with the necessary skills and knowledge, the municipality aims to create a supportive environment for female entrepreneurs.
