Through South Africa’s ongoing challenge with gender-based violence and femicide (GBVF), a growing number of local teams – including members from courts, municipalities, and TVET colleges – are proving that change is possible.

Through innovation, intense collaboration and rapid implementation, these teams are beginning to make meaningful progress, offering hope and practical solutions to their communities.

This event aims to inspire hope and shine a light on the paths of collective action on our journey to end GBVF in South Africa. At this event, the End GBVF 100-Day Challenge teams and other pioneers will share their stories and the insights they gained as they mobilise local stakeholders to tackle GBVF issues.

In addition to this, the End GBVF dashboard will officially be launched at the event. The dashboard enables Municipalities, GBVF service providers and organisations to track performance on key indicators and maturity of services.  Inspiring everyone to identify and prioritise areas for improvement.
