On Mandela Day (18 July) the  Mahwelereng Court team hosted an informative session for 60 Grade 11 and 12 learners about responding to domestic violence, and various career opportunities within the judicial system. This session was conducted by court personnel, SAPS, social services, and attorneys. To further educate the students, two moot courts were held, demonstrating how the justice system swiftly responds to protect survivors of GBV.
