On the 29 July 2024 at Ga-Segonyana Local Municipality Boardroom, Gender Based Violence Officer, Ms Obet Mosiapoa from Office of Speaker Keamogetse Madikiza held the preparatory and Lift Off Workshop on the End Gender based violence and femicide (GBVF) 100 day challenge.

Among the stakeholders present includes John Taolo Gaetsewe District Municipality, Joe Morolong Local Municipality, COGHSTA, Department of Correctional Services, Civil Society, Marang Career Centre, FAMSA, Soul City Institute and Thuthuzela. The collective will have engagements with communities across John Taolo Gaetsewe District.

The 100 Day Challenge is to raise awareness on GBVF , to motivate victims of GBVF to come forward to request for assistance and encourage all stakeholders to apply urgency in regard to GBVF cases. The date of the Launch of the 100 Day END GBV program will be communicated.
