The GBVF indicators only include four specific crime statistics published by SAPS quarterly.  The aim is to expand the indicators with the support of the Department of Social Development and the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development and also to include other local indicators, for example:

• Other GBVF related crime statistics
• Number of victims accessing support services.
• Human trafficking victims accessing social services.
• GBVF victims accessing sheltering services
• Withdrawel of GBV-related cases.
• Backlog of cases – Domestic violence, Maintenance, Divorces and Sexual offences.
• Finalisation of cases
