100-Day Challenges

Provincial Support | SAWLA Limpopo

About

The South African Women Lawyers Association is a voluntary, non-profit and non-political organisation of female lawyers which was established in 2006 by the then Minister of Justice in consultation with a group of female legal minds. The purpose of the organisation is, inter alia, to transform the legal profession, to empower female lawyers both monetary and with skills development and to give a voice to all women.

SALWA is committed to the advancement and empowerment of women lawyers in order to achieve gender equality in the legal sector. It also seeks to protect and promote fundamental human rights and equality before the law as enunciated in the constitution.

SAWLA Limpopo, as a stakeholder, has pledged its support to the 100 days challenge by availing its members as legal representatives for members of the public that may not be able to afford legal representation during the initiative.
