Role and Attributes of a Team coach

Coach Role

The Coach will support the 100-Day Team during their 100-Day Sprint, including:

  • Facilitating the 100-Day Challenge Workshops – Start-Up, Refresh and Scale-Up.
  • Checking-in with the Team Leader at least weekly, to see how they are doing and to offer support.
  • As needed, facilitating weekly team meetings and build the capacity of the Team Leader to do this.

The Coach will also update you if issues and/or delays arise, and brainstorm ways to handle these. 

Attributes

In selectng Team Coaches, keep these attributes in mind:

  • Works for the organisation or in the community
  • Willing to give credit to others
  • Good and attentive listener
  • Able to withhold judgment and opinions so others feel safe to voice their own
  • Well organised and disciplined. 
  • Persistent nudger with a light touch
  • Results-oriented 
  • Sensitive to people around her or him
